My Gallery System

Each of the six Bed and Craft inns has been created in collaboration with a different artist active in the region. The inns and the artists are deeply connected, and the spaces are created with the artists' input from the design stage.

The artists are not trying to create a work of art to suit the inn, but to create an inn to suit the artists.’ By doing so, the inn becomes a gallery exclusively for each artist and a place where they can express their own world view.

Artworks on display in the inn. These are provided by the artists and guests can purchase some of their work. Bed and Craft also returns a portion of the accommodation fee to the artist in charge.

This allows the artists to create new works and allows guests to see the space changing on a daily basis. By expressing the artist's worldview in the entire space, we want guests to become fans of the artist as a person, not just of a single piece of artwork in front of them.

Inami is a town where what you envision takes shape. An inn where you can meet an artist who will be there for you when you want something like this. Bed and Craft connects artists and travellers through the My Gallery system.
